The below letter is from Ron Mueller........It is chock full of information, which I am sharing with you.....
DOWN TO THE DEADLINE.OR NOT.
If your taxes are ready to file, go ahead and send them in. If not, take the pressure off yourself, and send in Form 4868, Extension of Time to File Tax Returns. Either your Tax Return or your Form 4868 must be postmarked no later than Tuesday April 17th. If you send in an extension form, you can then submit your Tax Return at any time from now until October 15th
. You can get Form 4868 by going to www.WhatAreHomeBusinessBenefits.com and hover your mouse pointer over the Resource Center button and then click on IRS Forms and Publications.
DID YOU EMAIL TAX QUESTIONS TO ME?
If you sent me an email but haven’t gotten a reply, don’t hold your breath waiting for an answer before Tuesday. (You might want to file Form 4868.) Your “quick question” is one of literally HUNDREDS I received during the past few weeks. I do my very best to try to help, but frankly answering random tax question is neither my business nor my hobby. ? If you purchased a book on building a deck, and in the middle of the project you didn’t understand something, do you think you could call or email the author and get him to discuss the answer to your question with you? I don’t think so.
For the dozens of you who asked my opinion about Turbo Tax, I don’t have one, because I always recommend working with a Tax Professional (specifically one who is a seasoned expert in home-business tax law). In my book, I explain why. And for those of you who asked me on what line of a tax form to claim a particular deduction, let me assure you that your Tax Professional will know what line to put it on.
Now, here’s some really Good News!!! By the middle of next month (within 30 days after the end of Tax Season), I will be ready to introduce you to Ron Mueller’s Home-Business Tax Pro Network, comprised of tax pros personally selected by me, who are true experts in home-business tax law.
ARE YOU ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN NETWORK MARKETING?
The tax savings benefits of a home based business can be the thing that puts a prospect over the edge and ready to sign up. Each Thursday evening during April, get your prospects on a live tele-conference with me, and I’ll tell them exactly why they should sign up in your business.
I’ll end the call by telling your prospects that they can’t get any of the home business tax breaks unless they have a qualifying home-based business … “so immediately get back with the person who invited you on this call.”
Of course I’ll also encourage them to get my tax-savings information, but I’ll make it clear that they should not do that until after they’ve signed up in your business.
Here Are The Details:DATES: Thursdays, April 12, 19 and 26. TIME: 9:30 p.m. Eastern (6:30 p.m. Pacific). LENGTH: 60 minutes CALL-IN NUMBER: 218-486-1300. ACCESS CODE: 245401
WHY DON’T YOU HELP ME PLAN THIS SPECIAL TELE-CONFERENCE?
The Associated Press wire service said, “Dan Pilla surely knows more about the IRS than the Commissioner himself.” But Dan’s on “our side” and, as a personal favor to me, he has agreed to do a special tele-conference exclusively for my newsletter subscribers (that would be you).
So, here’s the deal…
If you had access to the one person who knows the most about the inner working of the IRS, and if you knew he would reveal anything he knows (which he will), what would you ask him?
Write down the questions YOU want to ask Dan Pilla, and email them to me at askdan@homebusinesstaxsavings.com. The call will held in about 3 weeks, but we need to know your questions now.
Want to know more about Dan Pilla? Good, because I just added a page about him on my web site. First, go to www.WhatAreHomeBusinessBenefits.com Then, click on “Consulting & Coaching” on the left side of the homepage. Finally, select “Help With IRS Problems” from the drop-down menu. Say hello to Dan Pilla, America’s #1 IRS guru.
FREE TELE-CONFERENCE ESPECIALLY FOR “Tax MiniMi$er” OWNERS
Would you like to learn, straight from the horse’s mouth, how to get maximum value out of your “Tax MiniMi$er” recordkeeping system? Well, now’s your chance.
The creator of this incredibly easy-to-use, IRS-compliant recordkeeping system, Bob Whitaker, has agreed to be my guest on a Special Tele-Coaching call to be entitled, “Getting the Most from Your Tax MiniMi$er.” Think of it as an “audio tutorial” and a Q & A session rolled into one. Bob developed the Tax MiniMiser after his own multiple tax audits. (Ask him how his last audit turned out.) Bob normally charges for this coaching, but since he is a personal friend, I twisted his arm to do this for YOU for zero cost!
Here Are The Details:DATE: Thursday, April 19. TIME: 8 p.m. Eastern (5 p.m. Pacific). LENGTH: 60 minutes CALL-IN NUMBER: 218-486-1300. ACCESS CODE: 166025
The call will be recorded and the replay can be accessed by clicking on “Audio Visual Library” at the top of my homepage at You can listen to it at no cost for the next few days; after that, we will be charging an access fee for listening to it.
Have your Tax MiniMiser in front of you www.WhatAreHomeBusinessBenefits.com during the call. If you have not yet obtained the Tax MiniMiser, here’s your chance to test drive it. Take a close look by visiting http:// www.WhatAreHomeBusinessBenefits.com /products_services.htm#minimiser

Karla,
A friend of mine just called me out of the blue. I don't usually answer unscheduled incoming calls, but the phone was right there and I just got off a call 2 minutes ago, so I picked up the phone, and I heard afamiliar voice on the other hand.
"Dan, the man, how are you doing, this is Rick!"
"Hey, Rick, how are you doing? Haven't heard from you in a while. What have you been up to?
"Not much, I am in the process of buying a new company, done the due diligence, got the financing and everything in place, met with the seller and his team multiple times, just now negotiating the finer details. What have YOU been up to? What new projects are you working on?"
"What have I NOT been up to? Let me see, I am doing a BIG product launch on April 10th. I am doing a huge JVdeal with Dan Kennedy and Ted Thomas in May. I am working on 2 new ebooks, which I will release in 2007.
And I am starting 2 new companies, one will control a whole bunch of Yahoo Stores, one is another info-business targeting to advanced info-marketers. Another one of my companies is releasing a series ofDVDs in one of the niche markers in April. I am settingup a new massive portal site one of my other niches.
I am also involved with a business friend's newcompany, which I own a piece of, involved with a newtechnology.I am re-engineering my OWN website conversion business and setting up a new membership program this year. I am also planning to organize an advanced mastermind groupin 2007. I am looking at commercial real estate deals.I am coaching dozens of clients. On top of all this, I am also taking ballroom dancing and going to the gym 2 to 3 times a week".
"Man, how the hell do you get so much done? Are youworking 24 hours, 7 days a week?"
"No, In fact. Compared with before? I am working a lot less now. I've cut back my workload dramatically. I am working only 4 to 5 days a week and 7 to 8 hours a day now."
So how do I do it? How do I get so much done and do so much? I am not working any harder; in fact, I am working a lot less. I am making a lot more money. I am having more fun. I am doing more what I love. I am doing more of what I am extremely good at.
In my new program, Outsource and Delegate, I hold nothing back as I explain step-by-step exactly how I run my hugely successful online business every single day.
You will get the golden opportunity to "kick-open the door" of my private office and watch first-hand how my successful internet enterprise really works... largely without my direct involvement.
I am here to say this, this is the most important product I'll release this year. I am proud of this baby!
The website won't be ready until April 10th. My

7 Levels of Internet Marketers Copyright (c) 2006
Quick Turn Marketing International, Ltd.
If you want to jump-start your life and your business, you have to know what type of Internet Marketer you are. True financial success only comes to those that master this concept. So ask yourself, "Do you know what kind of Internet marketer you are"?
Have your marketing experiences on the Net been positive, negative or mixed? I'm sure by now you want to know why you get the results you do (positive or negative) that you get when you market online, right? If not, you should… Let me tell you some hard facts. I have spent years around hugely successful and rich Internet marketers. I've personally helped thousands of Internet marketers excel and realize their financial dreams.
While working with many of these marketers, I discovered a simple secret. One that may be the key to your financial success. Despite the many and varied personality types in the world (and there are many my friends), there are really only seven basic types (or levels) of marketers. And while it is common for an individual to drift a little from one entrepreneur type to another, most people will stay fixed at one level or marketing their entire lives.
This is bad news. Far too often I see people who are "stuck" at one level of marketing. Why is this bad? I'll tell you… it prevents them from realizing their true financial potential. Sound dire? It is, but don't worry. The good news is that anyone, with a little effort, can easily upgrade their marketing skills and realize financial stability (even you!).
The first step you need to take to upgrade your financial status is identifying what type of marketer you are. Knowing this will provide you a clearer understanding of why you achieve (or don't achieve) the financial results you want and need to realize your dreams. With this new awareness and understanding, you can adopt (or maintain) the attitudes necessary to reach the level of marketing you want and need to succeed. You can then reinvent your marketing strategy using this awareness and take the proper action needed to realize the financial results you so richly deserve. As you read through the seven levels of marketers provided below, I want you to know that at various times in my life, I have been at almost every single one of them. It was only as my knowledge and experience increased that I was able to upgrade to the level I am at today.
At some point while reading the descriptions of each level, you will probably recognize where you are or where other people are you know. I recommend while reading you write down where you currently are as you discover your level, to help improve your awareness of your current strategy. This will also help you realize where you need to go. Here are the seven levels of Internet marketers.
Level 1 - The Mooches The "Mooches" are people at the very bottom level of marketing. They're clueless and sit around wasting their time. Most are completely ignorant of the money making opportunities available on the Web. These people spend their time whining about their financial status without taking the time to evaluate what they need to do to get ahead. Most Mooches don't have a clue about Internet marketing. If you ask them what the Internet is for, they'll say, "to chat" or "to e-mail friends" or even better, "to watch porn". You know, something useless. They are the kind of people you see working dead-end jobs with nowhere to go. They don't like what they do and find plenty of time to complain about their job, but no time to do anything about it. Most Mooches don't take time out to invest in themselves or their self-education. They have no self-esteem and feel that richness and financial security is out of their reach. While they may admire the achievements of others, they don't see themselves as winners. Most believe the real winners are "lucky" rather than savvy people. They may know people who are successful, but they allow their fears to hold them back.
Here's a brief summary of Mooches top traits: * Ignorant of the Internet and all it has to offer. * Believe the Internet is for fun not for making money. * Lack any marketing savvy. * Lack the motivation necessary to succeed. * Have poor self-esteem and are afraid of taking chances. * Believe real fortune is a matter of luck rather than skill and hard work. My advice: Shut up, stop whining and get a damn life. No one is going to hand you the winning lottery ticket. If you want to succeed you have to believe in yourself and work hard to get where you want to be. Period.
Level 2 - The Wanna-Be The "Wanna-Be" has ambition, but not enough. They wander around in the dark looking under stones for a magic treasure box. They want to make money, but don't have a clue how. They get sucked into ridiculous scams and waste their money on garbage ideas that won't get them anywhere. They need to get smart quick about where they need to go to turn their life around. Most Wanna-Be marketers have heard of the Internet and know people who make money on the Net, so they are easily excited about opportunities. Unfortunately they spend most of their money on MLM and other moneymaking scams rather than chasing real opportunities. You'll recognize this person as the kind of person who rapidly floats from one business opportunity to another, dreaming one-day money will just fall in their lap. They want to make money, but lack the drive and motivation necessary to succeed. They are too busy spending their time looking for "get rich quick" opportunities, so they spend a lot of time signing up for "guru" mailing lists and fast money scams. Most don't have a clue it's not their lack of money but their lack of knowledge that is keeping them from succeeding. Wanna-be's would do better if they just took some time to find out what it takes to work smarter.
Here's a quick summary of Wanna Be top personality traits: * Like Mooches, lack real motivation. * Want to make money but haven't figured out how. * Fail to take real responsibility for their actions and their life. * Believe money grows on trees. * Easy prey for scam artists. They invest in cheap opportunities believing this will fulfill their dreams. My advice: If your life stinks, it's your fault! Moneymaking is hard work. You have to put yourself out there, learn all there is to learn and then DO it. You can't rely on get rich quick opportunities or you will continue to fail.
Level 3 - The Pretend To Be The "Pretend To Be" is living a lie. They pretend to work hard, to do what it takes to get where they need to be. But they don't actually DO anything. Most are perfectionists, worried about getting it right the first time. They don't realize just how much they can learn even by making a few mistakes. Most Pretenders are waiting for the perfect time to start a new business. They don't realize the perfect time is NOW. They talk talk talk about starting an Internet business but lack the guts necessary to DO IT. Many have successful offline businesses and spend lots of their hard earned money attending seminars and buying e-books about Internet marketing. They may lie to themselves believing that they are preparing themselves for the day they will jump in and DO something. These guys know a lot but don't take action, so ultimately they set themselves up for failure.
A good example of a Pretender is a successful overworked doctor who spends $20,000 on info-products but doesn't develop a website. The Pretender doesn't understand a key principle of this industry… You don't have to get it right the first time; you just have to get started. They say they want a successful business, but the truth is they are afraid to step out of their comfort zone. They lack courage, and instead hide behind what they know rather than taking a chance and exploring the unknown. Key traits of the Pretender include: * The like to talk the "talk" but don't walk the "walk" when it comes to their life and their business. * They lack courage and fear the unknown. * They fool themselves into thinking they are making progress by buying more and more useless products and attending seminars. They never actually do anything however. * They live under false pretenses, believing there is a "right" time to start and a "wrong" time. (There is no right time unless that time is NOW!) My advice: You don't have to get it right, you just have to get it going. Get off your butt and start doing.
Level 4 - The Newbie The "Newbie" is on their way to the fast track, they just lack experience. They have the desire to learn and grow, and may have the skill and talent necessary. They jump into opportunities with all the freshness one would expect of an eager beaver in the industry. They have done some homework, but lack the technical know how to get where they need to be. There is hope for the Newbie. They feel excited and probably have read a few books about Internet marketing. Unlike Pretenders, they are willing to invest a lot of time in themselves. They will buy resale rights, reprint rights, licenses of many products… but lack the know how about how to market them. They may already be making a few thousand bucks each month, but have the potential to make a lot more if they focus better and improve their technique. They don't understand it's not the products you sell but the MARKETING that leads to financial success. It's not what you sell, but how you sell it. Newbies have ambition they just don't have enough. The lack the technical knowledge necessary to take their business to the next level. They also believe that to succeed they have to do everything themselves, when what they really need is the help of an expert. They are control freaks that believe, "If you want something done, you gotta do it yourself." Most Newbies have tunnel vision. They fail to see the big picture.
Key traits of the Newbie include: * Most Internet marketers fall into this category. * Most feel confused about the right approach to marketing. * They think it is enough to build a dynamite site, that if you build they will come. * They lack a basic understanding of marketing. * Most of them are broke so they can't afford to hire anybody. * Lack of vision - don't know what they want to achieve in the long-term. * Lack of direction - don't know want to do next and how to take their business to the next level. My advice: If you could get there on your own, you'd already be there. Ask for help if you want your business to rise to the occasion and if you want to reach the next level.
Level 5 - The Marketer The "Marketer" is well on their way to victory. They are making some money. They are strong marketers. They still lack the ambition necessary however to get off their butt and do what they need to do to truly realize victory. Most Marketers have a website or a moneymaker but don't have a business. They posses a strong understanding of marketing, copywriting and traffic generation and have a clear sense of what their audience is looking for. They are often leaders within their niche and make good money. They enjoy a comfortable living. The problem is they are sitting on their "ass-ets" and thinking what they have accomplished so far is all they can do. They fail to realize there is more opportunity available if they are willing to put in a little extra effort. They are more comfortable hanging out in their comfort zone. A good example? A client of mine making $10,000 a month. He is making a good living, but fails to realize he can make even more. Most savvy marketers think they know it all and have seen it all but they haven't. They often compare themselves with Level 1 to 4 instead of Level 6 and 7. It is this low expectation of themselves that kills them. Many have the ambition to make more money but lack the knowledge necessary to do this. Because of this they feel stuck.
Key traits include: * Have created some success but fail to realize they can create more wealth if they apply themselves. * Are afraid to step out of their comfort zone. * Many are playing not to lose instead of playing to win. * Most will excel and prosper quickly if offered guidance. * Have the potential to take their business to the next level. My advice: You don't know what you don't know. You can't solve a problem with the same mind that created it! Get a mentor. Raise the bar, improve the expectations you have for yourself.
Level 6 - The Master The "Master" is a smart marketing agent. They are making good money, and can teach others how to do the same. Most are visionaries, charismatic leaders who have a good handle on everything they need to succeed. They'll fail only if they stop thinking about what more they can do. There is always more success just around the corner, if only one takes the time to look. The Master marketers are millionaires, or at least making 6 figures a year. They are leaders in their industry. They are well versed in direct response marketing and can teach others. They have a vast amount of knowledge both online and offline and experience working in different businesses. Most have experience working with adversity. They are high performance people who make great mentors. Most understand traffic conversion and traffic generation. The Master marketer can get into any niche and make money, even if they don't have any affinity or experience working with a niche. They recognize the Internet is nothing more than a medium they can use to make money. They integrate online and offline marketing. They posses a solid understanding of copywriting, testing and tacking. They build a team of experts around them and delegate responsibility to talented people. They create a vision and strategy. They understand that less control actually translates into more control. They don't worry about managing the day-to-day but rather focus on the big picture. They empower their team to excel and create money for them.
Key traits include: * Outsource almost everything except the marketing. * Never stop learning - Stay hungry and keep learning and investing in themselves. * Believe in themselves and their ability. * Have a clear vision of they want to accomplish. * Understand their business is there to serve them, not the other way around. My advice: You're more than what you have become, if you allow yourself to go beyond. There is always something more you can achieve if you set your mind to it.
Level 7 - The Entrepreneur This is where everyone should aspire to be. The Entrepreneur has already achieved true victory. They are the models that others try to mimic and follow. If you ask me, your goals should be no less than achieving "The Entrepreneur " statue. These are the multimillionaires, the master sales people and the master marketers. They have a strong team of talented people with different expertise surrounding them. They hire people that are smarter than they are to ensure their success. They have a clear vision for their company in the short-term (1-3 years) and in the long-term (5-10 years). Most sell their Internet business at a profit of millions of dollars. These are the people taking their companies public. They are raising capital and selling to the public… to shareholders… but not to customers. They have an exit strategy in place before starting something new. They recognize the purpose of a business is to sell it or put it on autopilot so they can enjoy their lives to the fullest. This is where you want to be.
Key traits include: * Visionaries and entrepreneurs. * Taking their companies to public. * Raising Capital. * Website could be making millions a year. * Have professional managers running their business. * Example: ebay.com, google.com, yahoo.com… etc. My advice: Give back to society.
So now I ask you… Which one are you? Which one do you want to be? The people you know, which level are they at? Are they realizing their dreams? Why or why not? You have to ask questions, have a firm understanding of where you are NOW and where you WANT to be soon if you want to succeed. Don't just charge ahead blindly, but don't sit on you're ass either. If you want to succeed, take charge of your life and your financial future. Find out where you are, and what steps you need to take to be where you want to be.
Sincerely, Dan Lok = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Another Home Business Benefit
I received this in an email, a long time ago. I just ran across it today and thought how it fit perfectly into the "Why" benefit part of having your own "Home Business." I did take the Liberty of renaming it, I hope the original author does not mind.
Don't Lose All Your Marbles:
The older I get, the more I enjoy Saturday mornings. Perhaps it's the quiet solitude that comes with being the first to rise, or maybe it's the unbounded joy of not having to be at work. Either way, the first few hours of a Saturday morning are most enjoyable.
A few weeks ago, I was shuffling toward the garage with a steaming cup of coffee in one hand and the morning paper in the other. What began as a typical Saturday morning turned into one of those lessons that life seems to hand you from time to time. Let me tell you about it:
I turned the dial up into the phone portion of the band on my ham radio in order to listen to a Saturday morning swap net. Along the way, I came across an older sounding chap, with a tremendous signal and a golden voice. You know the kind; he sounded like he should be in the broadcasting business. He was telling whom-ever he was talking with something about "a thousand marbles." I was intrigued and stopped to listen to what he had to say
"Well, Tom, it sure sounds like you're busy with your job. I'm sure they pay you well but it's a shame you have to be away from home and your family so much. Hard to believe a young fellow should have to work sixty or seventy hours a week to make ends meet. It's too bad you missed your daughter's "dance recital" he continued. "Let me tell you something that has helped me keep my own priorities." And that's when he began to explain his theory of a "thousand marbles."
"You see, I sat down one day and did a little arithmetic. The average person lives about seventy-five years. I know, some live more and some live less, but on average, folks live about seventy-five years.
"Now then, I multiplied 75 times 52 and I came up with 3900, which is the number of Saturdays that the average person has in their entire lifetime. Now, stick with me, Tom, I'm getting to the important part.
It took me until I was fifty-five years old to think about all this in any detail", he went on, "and by that time I had lived through over twenty-eight hundred Saturdays." "I got to thinking that if I lived to be seventy-five, I only had about a thousand of them left to enjoy. So I went to a toy store and bought every single marble they had. I ended up having to visit three toy stores to round up 1000 marbles. I took them home and put them inside a large, clear plastic container right here in the shack next to my gear."
"Every Saturday since then, I have taken one marble out and thrown it away. I found that by watching the marbles diminish, I focused more on the really important things in life. There is nothing like watching your time here on this earth run out to help get your priorities straight."
"Now let me tell you one last thing before I sign-off with you and take my lovely wife out for breakfast. This morning, I took the very last marble out of the container. I figure that if I make it until next Saturday then I have been given a little extra time. And the one thing we can all use is a little more time."
"It was nice to meet you Tom, I hope you spend more time with your family, and I hope to meet you again here on the band. This is a 75 Year old Man, K9NZQ, clear and going QRT, good morning!"
You could have heard a pin drop on the band when this fellow signed off. I guess he gave us all a lot to think about. I had planned to work on the antenna that morning, and then I was going to meet up with a few hams to work on the next club newsletter.
Instead, I went upstairs and woke my wife up with a kiss. "C'mon honey, I'm taking you and the kids to breakfast." "What brought this on?" she asked with a smile. "Oh, nothing special, it's just been a long time since we spent a Saturday together with the kids. And hey, can we stop at a toy store while we're out? I need to buy some marbles.
And so, as one smart bear once said..."If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you." - Winnie the Pooh.

Drop The Welfare Mentality
Today, we are going to take it a little further. We touched briefly upon treating your "Home Business," as a bona fide business, earlier. Now I want to point out the importance of mind set.
There are so many programs being "incorrectly" marketed as a "Do Nothing, We Will Do All The Work For You, You Rake In The Money." So many of you out there fall for that line of garbage, when it is nothing but an, out and out lie, come along line, just to get you to sign up. STOP and THINK...... If it was really that easy, why are there not more successful marketers making six figures a year, if not a month as promised? So who does make the money in that scenerio? The person that signs you up. They sign you up, get your up front money, and as soon as sign ups start to slow down, they are off and promoting a new program, while there you sit. Waiting for your ship to come in, but it never docks.
A home business, is a great opportunity for everyone, but it takes work. If you treat it with the respect that a business deserves, it will make you money, and keep making you money. It is all in how you approach your business, as to how it will react for you.
First of all, quit thinking that you are going to make your fortune without having to put forth any effort. I call this the "Welfare Mentality." Sign up, sit back, hand out, wait for the checks to roll in. If that is what you are looking for, you signed up in the wrong type of business.
Start thinking of yourself as a CEO...You are going to build your own empire. You know there will be obstacles and you know there will be some sort of learning curve. You can do one of two things when you meet these challenges. You can sit back, allow them to prevent you from moving forward and reaching your goals, or you can put your head down, square your shoulders, meet the challenges head on, not stopping until you have conquered them.
Believe in yourself. If you do not believe you can succeed, no matter what, then you have already set yourself up for failure. Set your mind in a positive, forward direction and do not look back. Nothing is going to be handed to you in this business, in fact you will find yourself having to work hard at first. It is here, where most people either quit, or do not get started at all.
Set your mind in a positive direction, create beneficial work ethics (you are the one who is reaping all of the benefits), do not let any obstacles stand in your way, find a way, around, over, under or through them, and after only a couple of years of hard building, you should be able to put your business on a maintenence program and live off the residuals. Now that is a benefit!

Another Benefit From Working at Home
Now that we have you pointed in the right direction for the "Tax Benefits," lets explore another benefit which I personally feel is mis-used in promoting "Home Business Opportunities."
How many times have you heard the "Come On, Statement," All you have to do is sign up with us, you will not have to do any work, and you will make all of this money! I see it in ads all over the place and frankly, it makes me sick. If it was that easy, don't you think there would be a whole lot more six figure earning, successful people, out there?
My mentor, Al Turnquist, (leading marketer and educational promoter) states it very plainly and matter of factly....
"The home business industry, has taught duplication for years. The industry has also promoted home business(mlm) as a different kind of business model, one that does not require office space, employees ect.
This thinking is WRONG!!!
Home business(mlm) is business. Products or services are provided in exchange for money. What is typically called a downline could easily be called a sales organization. Building a downlone is recruiting salespeople. The difference between home business and traditional business is COMPENSATION, MLM offers the ability to get paid on multiple levels.
That is the only real difference. In reference to building your business, there is no difference.
Successful businesses are run by CEO's, who delegate the tasks necessary for success, to people who are good at that particular task. These include, sales, marketing, customer service, training ect.
Try and imagine, the CEO of a successful fortune 500 company trying to do everything the business requires. It wouldn't work.
Think
Duplication is responsible for a 95% failure rate in the home business industry. Failure is constantly duplicating failure."
If you understand what is being said above, then you will benefit from a home business. Become the CEO, of your own company, hand pick the "Team" of co workers with whom you are going to work with and delegate to. Pick these people carefully. Choose those, who's strengths compliment your weaknesses. In other words, if you do not do phone work well, choose a team mate who does. Cant write ad copy well, find someone who can.........Get the picture? Now you are Benefiting from your Home Business.

After Much Research....
My business associates and I have been utilizing the "Tax advantages" for a long time, in regards to showing people the benefits of having and maintaining a home business. My main concern was, I am not a tax expert, nor do I ever expect anyone to become one, in order to promote and build their business.
After much research, my associates and myself, came to the unanimous conclusion, that Ron Mueller was the Tax expert we would most like to refer all of our new business people to at the start. Although all of the other respected experts in their field, were great, Mr. Mueller is on a level where anyone can comprehend what it is he is saying, and his services are financially affordable for all income levels.
To get more insight as to "Who Ron Mueller is, please read the below excerpts from his sight, http://www.homebusinesstaxsavings.com/about_ron.htm
Who Is Ron Mueller?
Ronald R. (Ron) Mueller is a baby-boomer, born in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of a career postal worker and a career bookkeeper. He left the Midwest in 1965 to accept an appointment to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Management.
After serving his country for eight years on active duty as a Naval Officer, including a combat tour in Vietnam, Ron worked briefly as an investigative reporter for the Atlanta Journal, and then entered the business world focusing on the fields of advertising and marketing.
Ever since he was a young boy working as a caddy for several successful businessmen at his hometown Country Club, he heard repeatedly that real success belongs to those who are self employed. Now this was quite a contrast from what he had learned from his parents -- that the way to get more money is to take on a second job. Years later, in 1999, having grown weary of his corporate14-hour workdays and exhausting 4-hour daily commutes, Ron fired his boss and hired himself. While building a successful career out of making other people’s businesses thrive, he had learned this: It’s how much you keep, that counts, not how much you make. So Step One in starting his own business was to gain a thorough understanding of small-business tax laws.
Right away many well-meaning friends began offering Ron the ‘free advice’ that home-based business owners get huge tax benefits. But not one of those well-meaning friends was able to tell him what those tax benefits are, or how to qualify for them, or what records he would need to keep. So he began spending hours in bookstores, on the Internet, and even in the United States Library of Congress looking for information about those “small business tax advantages.” Ron launched into doing his own research, and after several months, what he had discovered was exciting. First of all, yes, small businesses can qualify for most of the same tax breaks as big businesses. Second, the potential value of those tax benefits is huge. And third, many of the largest tax breaks actually were authorized by Congress specifically to stimulate and reward the start-up and running a small business.
He was not looking for ‘tax-dodges’ or ‘loopholes’ or ‘gray-areas,’ so he traced every individual small-business tax break all the way back to the precise Article in the U.S. Tax Code, or the specific Congressional Tax Law, or the exact Federal Tax Court Ruling that authorized it. By now Ron knew he needed to find a way to make this information available and affordable to every one of the 25 million small-business owners who need it –especially since many were unaware of how much they needed it.His response to that “Inner Passion” was to write a step-by-step guide that explained, in layman terms, what tax breaks are available to small businesses, how to qualify for them, and how to spend only a few minutes a day keeping the necessary records. That book, which has become a bestseller, is called, “It’s How Much You KEEP, That Counts! Not how much you Make.”
Ron lives in Dan Diego, California aboard a yacht appropriately named “Home Office.”

Views of Sandy Botkin
This article was written back in the mid to late 90's, and that is what makes it so powerful. Listen to what this leading tax expert predicts for the future......Here we are 2007, and where are we at economically speaking. A Home Business is needed more now than ever, and not just by the blue collar families.
If You Don't Have a Home-Based Business, Start One Today!
By Sandy Botkin
This may be a decade of tremendous corporate profits and economic growth, but for the vast majority of North Americans, the 90's have been a dismal, uphill climb. And many economists believe that this next, new millennium won't be getting better any time soon.
Why?
Changing business and government attitudes are the reason. There has seemingly been more anti-business legislation in the last decade than in any other this century.
stronger employment and labor laws
the Age Discrimination in Employment Act
the Comprehensive Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA, which includes mandating health insurance for workers for a period of time after they leave employment)
safety laws
much tougher laws for discharging workers
more liabilities for lawsuits
the Family Leave Act
the Americans with Disabilities Act (which is creating immense numbers of lawsuits)
higher minimum wages and fringe benefits
Just reading this list is exhausting.
While these acts have beneficial and protective aspects, they have also encouraged businesses to move their facilities. That "sucking sound" popularized by Ross Perot is not just down to Mexico, but elsewhere as well. The result has been a dramatic loss of heavy industry in the U.S.
The young and the middle-aged alike are realizing that their dream of "having a job with a company forever" is an illusion. Companies have been downsizing, rightsizing, and capsizing for some time now, and they continue to do so-more now than ever before. Even the federal and state governments are getting into the act with layoffs and attrition of jobs.
In addition to all this uncertainty and mutual lack of loyalty between companies and employees, even the workers who do not keep their jobs have no guarantee of promotions due to the shrinking number of management positions. These circumstances aggravate the already tryingly long commutes in rush hour traffic and increasingly typical frustrated boss-spelled backwards, that double S-O-B.
Finally, if all this isn't bad enough, under recent tax laws, employees are shafted more than ever with limits and thresholds for their employee deductions and higher social security tax limits. This results in more couples working than ever before and, on many occasions, working more than one job. It is now almost impossible to have only one job in the family and make ends meet! Today, many households need three incomes just to survive.
Sadly, even having more than one job does not produce any major positive effect on most people's bank accounts. Why? Because of tax laws. This was well illustrated in 1994 by Jane Bryant Quinn in her Woman's Day article on "How to Live on One Salary."
Where the Money Goes
Ms. Quinn's example assumed that a man was earning $40,000 per year. His wife (we will call her Lori) wasn't working. They had more month than money. (Sound familiar?) Lori subsequently got an administrative job for $15,000 per year. You would think this would improve the family's financial situation, but when Ms. Quinn examined the economics of getting this extra income, the results were startling!
Lori had to pay federal and state taxes on her new income. Since they filed jointly, the family's combined income was what established their tax bracket. She paid $4,500 in new taxes, most of which was non-deductible, for federal and state income tax.
Lori had social security withheld from her paycheck at the rate of 7.65 percent, which amounted to an additional nondeductible amount of $1,148 being extracted from her salary. She also had to commute to work 10 miles a day round trip, which is probably conservative for most people. This resulted (in 1995) in nondeductible commuting costs of $696.
Lori also had some child care expenses, which give a partial tax credit. Ms. Quinn figured that the amount spent over and beyond the tax credit was $4,250 per year.
Lori also ate out each day with colleagues, spending an average of $5 per day, five days a week. This results in a nondeductible expense of $1,250 per year. ( I would love to know where she ate for only $5!)
Now that Lori has a job, she has to have professional clothing, this means a hefty dry cleaning bill. Ms. Quinn assumed that Lori's increased expenses here amounted to an extra $1,000 per year, nondeductible, of course.
Finally, with both spouses working, Lori wasn't in the mood to cook dinner every night. They bought more convenience foods and ate out more frequently. This resulted in increased food costs of a nondeductible $1,000 per year in minimum.
Add it all up and Lori's take home pay was a paltry $1,156 a year, for which she had to put up with a daily commute, an unpleasant boss, and corporate hassles. (See the following summary of all of these numbers, so you can do the math for yourself.)
No wonder more and more people are starting home-based businesses. In fact, there are currently an estimated 30 million people working from their homes. This number is expected to more than triple, to 97 million, by the year 2000, and to keep on growing. This has become and will continue to be one of the greatest mass movements in the U.S.
You all have the ability to start a home business, do not let it become a major challenge when you have so much to gain from the experience. Need more information? www.WhyAHomeBusinessBenefits.com

Another Professional View on "Tax Benefits"
The below article was written by Keven Wilke, Professional Home Business Builder......Here is his perspective on "Why and How You Benefit" With Your Taxes Through Building A Home Business.
Have you ever heard the expression, The only certainties in life are death and...
>>> TAXES! <<<
Nobody likes the subject of taxes (except for a few of the more masochistic tax preparers out there). Just thinking about the subject is enough to put most of us in a foul mood.
But it doesn't have to be that way...
As an Internet entrepreneur, you have lots of legitimate tax deductions that can help you reduce your tax bill this year. With a little bit of preparation, and the right tools, even the chore of tax preparation can be made tolerable (if not outright easy).
"Why does Uncle Sam give Internet business owners a huge advantage over regular employees, offering the business owner savings of $3,850 over the employee, even though they both make $30,000 a year?"
By Kevin Wilke
Did you know you could save thousands of dollars each year (yes $1000's) in taxes by having your own home-based business?
Now, I am not a CPA, however I do know how to crunch numbers... Plus, I have my own home-based business that has been saving me $1000's each year in taxes.
So... I know a little about how to save some money in paying taxes, but, again, like always, consult your accountant.
Let me give you a example so you can see how lucrative this can really be for you.
(Note: This is just an example based on US tax law and does not imply this will be the same in your case, savings could be greater or less then this example - the normal legal mumbo jumbo.)
If you are an employee working for somebody else, let's take a look at your basic tax return:
Revenue: $30,000Deductions: $ 0Adjusted Gross Income: $30,000Federal Income Tax: $ 2,800Social Security Tax: $ 2,250TOTAL TAXES PAID: $ 5,050
OK, pretty simple. You work 9 to 5 (plus 2 more hours a night to please the boss), you make $30,000 and right off the top Uncle Sam (or your country's government) takes $5000 and don't even say thanks.
Now, let's see what it might look like now that you own a home-based business, and start taking advantage of every perfectly legal tax deduction the government offers you....
(This is with the same expenses and income as above - we are comparing apples to apples.)
Revenue: $30,000Deductions:- Business Trips $ 2,000- Child's Payroll $ 4,000- Automobile $ 4,000- Home Office $ 3,000- Entertainment $ 2,000- Business Assets $ 7,000Adjusted Gross Income: $ 8,000Federal Income Tax: $ 0Social Security Tax: $ 1,200TOTAL TAXES PAID: $ 1,200
Let's compare the two...
As an employee your total taxes paid were - $5,050. As a home-business owner your taxes paid were - $1200; As a home-business owner you saved $3850 in taxes annually just for owning your own home business (and your expenses were the same!)
That is like the government giving you almost $4000 every year, just because you started and own a home-based business.
So, exactly how does this work?
As a Home-Business Owner you are offered the following Tax Advantages:
Business Trips (vacations): Do you ever take a vacation (or would like to but can't afford to?) By owning your own business you can now deduct that as a business expense. It is easy as long as business is conducted while on that trip.
Child Payroll: You can pay your children up to $4,100 (This amount has gone up, since this article was written.) per child for working in your home-business. Do you pay your children currently, give them spending money or save money for their college education? Now you can do the exact same thing but deduct it as a tax expense by having your children help out in the business.
Automobile Expense: You can deduct around 30 cents (this too has gone up since this article was written.) for every mile you drive that is business related and a portion of all car expenses. Imagine that, taking an expense you already have and turning it into a tax write off.
Home Office: Since this business is done out of your home, you can deduct a portion of your rent or mortgage as a business expense, plus other home expenses like electricity, water, sewage, etc...
Entertainment: 50% of all business entertainment expenses can be deducted. Do you go out to eat? Well, talk about business and deduct that meal.
Home Office Equipment: Do you have a computer? A phone, fax, desk??? Did you deduct those on your tax return? By owning your own business you can.
This is just a brief overview of how you can deduct your normal, everyday expenses you already incur as business expenses and make a huge windfall in tax savings. Whatever you do...
Stop overpaying Uncle Sam!!
The above article was the authors opinion, make sure you consult with a tax expert before you take any deductions. I personally suggest the following affiliate site, he talks in language we all can understand. Provides tools which are easy to use.

Knowing the Real Why..........
So many of us have struggled for years, trying to make ends meet, going so far as to work two jobs, losing precious time with our families and even in some cases, jeopardizing our health. Many have tried to build a home business, only to end up spending more (of their already earned) money, than the home business ever brought in.
Fortunately, this does not need to happen anymore. Read On........
SPECIAL ALERT to Home-Based Business Owners...
Congress has passed laws giving THOUSANDS of DOLLARS in Tax REFUNDS and Tax DEDUCTIONS to average Americans who operate a legitimate home-based business – even a part time business – as long as they can prove they’re trying to make a profit.
Ronald R. MuellerMBA, Ph.D......
These are NOT “loopholes,” or “tax dodges” or “tax avoidance schemes.”
They are legitimate tax breaks... Authorized by Congress, Published in the IRS Code, and/or Approved by Federal Tax Court Rulings
Congress passed these tax laws to encourage home-based businesses because “Small business is the backbone of the American economy,” according to President George W. Bush.
The average American who runs even a part-time home-based business can now qualify for more tax advantages than any other category of taxpayer,” according to Ronald R. Mueller, author of the bestseller It’s How Much You KEEP, That Counts! Not how much you Make.
Why the big tax breaks for home-business owners???
Because 70% of the job growth is coming from small businesses, and Congress is “betting” that some of us will hit on a winner, strike it rich, and, then, pay a LOT in taxes. Of course we won't mind so much if we have to pay a lot in taxes if we're making a boatload of profits, right?
You can even qualify for these deductions retroactively! Most of the tax deductions and write-offs now available to taxpayers who run a small or home-based business, also apply to the past three tax years. So if you had a home-business in any of the past three years, you could file an Amended Tax Return (Form 1040X), and possibly get a Refund Check for THOUSANDS of DOLLARS – plus interest!
How Hard is it to QUALIFY for these Tax Deductions?
It’s easy!!! Just meet these four simple tests:
1.
Have a legitimate business such as consulting, network marketing, freelancing, child care, internet marketing, direct sales, etc.
2.
Prove you intend to make a profit You do not have to actually make a profit before qualifying to take these deductions, but you do have to show you intend to make a profit.
3.
Work your business on a “regular and consistent basis”At least 45-60 minutes a day, 4-5 days a week.
4.
Document your business Income, Expenses and ActivityBrief, hand written notes in a scheduling diary is usually enough
That’s it! If you meet those four tests, you probably qualify for some big-time home-based business tax deductions, which could reduce your taxes by thousands of dollars every year, for the rest of your working life!
Oh! It Gets Even BETTER!
When Congress approved these tax breaks, they told the IRS: “Don’t make people wait until April 15th to get their money back.”
As soon as you add up all of your tax savings, you can visit your employer’s payroll office to fill out a short form that will begin putting an extra $300-$600 or more per month in your take home pay! What would it be like to have $100 or so extra cash in your pocket every week, week after week? And that’s just from the tax savings! It doesn’t even include the money you’ll make in your home-based business.
There are tax breaks available to home-business owners, with precise IRS Code, Congressional Law or Tax Court Ruling that authorizes each one.
The easiest ways to qualify for each of the tax breaks, is a simple recordkeeping system that can bullet-proof your Tax Returns and knowing where to get reliable professional tax help when you need it.
When was the last time you earned $5,000 for spending 20-30 minutes looking at a web site?
Never?
Well, that’s about to change!
You see, the average person who uses the information you are about to discover, saves somewhere around $4,000 – $7,000 a year in taxes – that’s per year, for the rest of their working life!
These tax breaks, approved by Congress and the IRS, can put $100 extra cash in your pocket every week, by increasing your take-home pay from the job you already have – starting as soon as your very next paycheck!
P.S. What if You DON’T HAVE a Home-Based Business?
Simply said, you lose out on all the tax breaks you’ve just read about. The cost to NOT have a home-based business is about $20 per workday -- $100 per week - $5,000 per year - or more. And that’s every day, every week, and every year. That’s a lot of YOUR hard earned money that’s going to the Treasury Department, but could be going into your own pocket.
A home-based business offers the best tax savings strategy available to the average American, bar none.
